What is the difference between Swim Trunks and Swim Shorts?

Swim Trunks are swimsuits cut like Boxer Briefs, i.e. short and fitted. Swim Shorts are swimsuits with a cut equivalent to that of Boxer Shorts, i.e. with a longer, looser cut. Swim Shorts ensure maximum comfort with freedom of movement in the inseam whilst Swim Trunks are more suitable for swimming.

What’s the difference between normal shorts and swimming shorts?

Is chlorine bad for Swim Shorts?

Chlorine is not ideal for any swimwear as it alters colors and can cause the fabric to go yellow. After each use (whether in the pool to remove chlorine, or at the beach to remove salt), it is important to rinse your swimsuit thoroughly in cold water to remove all chlorine or salt residue. To restore the shine of a bathing suit yellowed by chlorine, soak it in a mixture of water and baking soda.
